Dr. Ramos provides guidance on adult preventive vaccines to help keep you from getting tetanus, the annual influenza vaccine and other based on your age group and medical conditions such as shingles vaccines, human papillomavirus (HPV), and more. You can also get vaccines before international travel or as a high-risk patient. Of course, she respects you if you decide not to take vaccines and will further recommend on how to prevent these transmittable diseases.


Screenings are tests for certain diseases before you have any symptoms. Dr. Ramos provides screenings for sexually transmitted diseases, cardiovascular disease, cervical cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, bone disorder such as osteoporosis, aortic dilation are some of the conditions she will guide you in how to diagnose them at early age and prevent the occurrence.

Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV

If you’re at risk of getting HIV, PrEP involves two medications to take daily as a preventive measure. If you take them consistently, you can significantly reduce your chances of contracting the virus through sex or injectable drug use. She will further guide you and monitor you to determine if you are a good candidate for it, explaining the risks and complications that you might encounter with this preventive treatment option.
